Tackling youth isolation through photography
PhotogrHAPPY is a project for young people from all over the UK to build their understanding of mental health, and to explore belonging within their local community to tackle isolation.

The PhotogrHAPPY project uses photography to explore what loneliness and belonging means to young people, aiming to give participants the skills and confidence to raise awareness about these topics.

Participants are given a camera for the duration of the project and asked to respond to a series of questions through photography.
Each day of the project, participants prepare mini field trips in their neighbourhood to spaces they feel can create a sense of belonging and connection for young people.

PhotogrHAPPY is about using pictures to talk about life, to learn about mental health and to tackle loneliness.
